We started these collections in July as part of the wider Fans Supporting Foodbanks movement growing in the UK, particularly in Scotland over the past 12 months. Since then we have been based at the Ibrox Subway Station on set match days and really believe that the Rangers support can make a difference to the local community.
Our aim is quite simple; to ensure as few people go to bed hungry as possible. We all know how difficult times are at the moment but we have seen what the fan base is capable of with their generosity. We host a collection monthly at the moment and we plan to continue to do so.
We can be followed on Twitter @GersFoodBanks for all future collection details whilst the wider movement's details can be found on Twitter @FSFScotland and @SFoodBanks. Many thanks for your support!
